Position: Private Family Chef (Part-Time)
Location: Bal Harbour, Florida
Schedule:
  • 1 day per week – Wednesday only (non-flexible)
  • Cook for Wednesday and Thursday + freezer meal prep
Salary: From $400 per day, depending on the chef’s experience, skills, and references.
A family in Bal Harbour is looking for a professional, reliable private chef to come once a week on Wednesdays. The main tasks are to cook fresh meals for the same day and the following day, and to prepare high-quality dishes for freezing so the family can enjoy healthy, home-cooked food throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare balanced, healthy meals for the family for 1–2 days
  • Cook and package meals suitable for freezing (freezer meal prep)
  • Develop menus based on family preferences, dietary needs, and seasonality
  • Shop for groceries or provide a detailed shopping list (as agreed)
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen during and after cooking
  • Label and organize meals in the refrigerator and freezer with clear instructions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a private chef or in high-end restaurant catering
  • Strong knowledge of healthy, nutritious cuisine and meal prep
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and cleanly
  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • References from previous families or employers are highly desirable
