Position: Project Manager – Drywall Construction
Location: Miami / On-site / Hybrid (U.S.-based)
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: Based on experience
The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of drywall construction projects, including capital, overhead, and change-order work. You’ll collaborate with vendors, engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of drywall projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop timelines, schedules, budgets, and coordinate procurement
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Oversee job sites, material delivery, labor, and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Create itemized estimates with markups, coordinate change orders
  • Conduct site visits, gather field data, research vendors and pricing
  • Use tools like SWIFTPLAN and project tracking software for full project reporting
  • Submit weekly time reports and maintain logs by project number
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, including potential weekend or holiday coverage
  • Work closely with procurement on negotiation and documentation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven experience managing drywall scope and civil works
  • Strong command of English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
  • Familiarity with Schematics, SWIFTPLAN, and construction scheduling tools
  • Cost estimation and documentation experience required
  • Exceptional time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Certification preferred (e.g., CCM, Certified Professional Constructor)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and OSHA standards
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
U.S. degrees must be accredited by USDE or CHEA. Foreign degrees must be evaluated by a NACES or AICE member organization at applicant’s expense.
